If you have any questions or concerns about an invoice, it’s important to let us know within 3 days from the date on the invoice. If we don’t hear from you within that time, it will be assumed that you have accepted the invoice in its entirety, and the full amount will be due for payment.
Failure to pay on time will result in late payment charges which shall be calculated in accordance with The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (as amended) from the date the payment was originally due until the date of actual payment.
- This means we reserve the right to add interest at the current legal rate (Bank of England base rate plus 8%) to all our invoices that are not paid within 30 days (or within an alternative timescale agreed prior to order confirmation).
- In addition to this through the act, we are entitled to charge a fixed sum of:
-for a debt less than £1000, the sum of £40
-for a debt of £1000 or more, but less than £10,000, the sum of £70
-for a debt of £10,000 or more, the sum of £100

- your account being moved to pre-payment terms for future orders
- the cancellation of future deliveries and/or any discount that we may have offered to you.
- further charges and details being passed to debt collection agencies.

UK, free shipping above £250 (ex vat)
EU, free shipping above €500
International customers are responsible for all import duties and government charges.
Depending on stock availability, we generally ship within 3-5 working days, but can take up to 10 days during busy periods. Please let us know if your order is urgent and we will do our best to accommodate.
Any missing or damaged stock needs to be reported to us within 10 calendar days and in the instance of damage, photographic evidence of the damaged product and the outer shipping box must be provided to assist with your claim.
5a. Brexit questions for EU shipping
We hate Brexit as much as you do! However, the good news is that paper products are zero rated for duty purposes, so if you are ordering from the EU, for most of our products you will only be liable for VAT/TVA (which you can reclaim) and a small administration fee from the carrier (with DHL it is usually around €15-20 depending on your country).
Here's an example of other non-paper items we sell, and the duties that may be applied:
Mugs: 5%
Pens: 3.7%
Zip cases: 0%
As an example, if you are in France, and you placed an order of €250, all paper products, you could expect to receive a payment request for approximately €70 (€50 TVA and €20 administration fee).
Another example, if you are in France, and you placed an order of €250, with 20 pens (total €45 value) then you could expect to receive a payment request for approximately €71.66 (€50 VAT, €1.66 duties on pens, €20 administration fee).
All of the above are estimate examples of charges, and we are not liable for any extra unexpected charges that customs in your country could decide to apply - this is unlikely, but not impossible. Another suggestion would be to order with us through Faire. If you're signed up to the Insider program, and when you order it shows you that we are also Insider (they select who qualifies to work together) then you can reclaim any duties (not VAT) that are charged by customs, as well as the administration fee. Plus, you also get free shipping through Insider. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email us!
If you order from the EU, please provide your VAT and/or your EORI number when ordering - this will help avoid customs delays.
6. Returns or exchanges
While we don’t accept returns, we will gladly replace any damaged or faulty product if notified within 10 calendar days of receiving your order. any claims must be accompanied by photographs of any damage.
7. Selling / Third Party Stockists / Marketplaces
We take pride in protecting our brand and carefully selecting where our products are sold. Please only sell our products within the originally agreed upon sales channels and not through any third-party stockists and/or marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, Etsy, or Facebook Marketplace.
Our products should always be sold by you direct to consumers and not in bulk to entities for the purposes of reselling without prior written consent.
8. Exclusivity
It’s always in our best interest to not stock within retailers that are close together, so we will check in when relevant with our existing partners before adding new retailers that may be in the same vicinity.
In the US, zip code protection is in effect if ordering through Faire within 90 days of your order.
Any other location exclusivity can be discussed subject to a minimum quarterly spend on a case by case basis.
